Everything a Palm Beach County family needs to know about full estate cleanouts — process, timeline, donations, and how Junk Force keeps it dignified.
When Families Call Junk Force
Estate cleanouts happen at some of the hardest moments a family will ever face — the loss of a parent, a move into assisted living, downsizing after decades in one home, or preparing a Palm Beach County house for probate sale. Junk Force has been the first call for hundreds of Palm Beach County families in each of those moments. The one thing they all want is the same — a crew that is respectful, professional, discreet, and fast.
The Full Estate Cleanout Process
The process begins with a phone call to 561-913-2023 and a scheduled on-site walkthrough with a Junk Force lead. During the walkthrough the family walks the home with the lead, identifies any heirloom items or paperwork to be set aside, and receives a firm flat-rate on-site quote before any work begins. Cleanout day itself typically takes one to three days depending on the size of the estate. A dedicated crew handles all loading and hauling — the family points and we remove.
By the end of the cleanout the home is broom-swept, the driveway is clean, and the property is ready for listing, closing, or the next family member to move in. On sensitive estates we schedule discreetly, arrive unmarked when requested, and coordinate with realtors, attorneys, or trust officers involved in the estate.
What Happens to the Items
Not everything from an estate needs to go to the landfill. Junk Force coordinates donation pickups for usable furniture, clothing, and household goods through established Palm Beach County partners — Habitat for Humanity ReStore, Salvation Army, Goodwill, and local church programs. Metals and appliances are recycled through licensed processors. Electronics go through certified e-waste channels. What remains is transported to licensed Palm Beach County disposal facilities.
Timeline and Planning
Most Palm Beach County estate cleanouts are scheduled within a week of the initial call. If a closing date is driving the timeline we can compress that further with a larger crew — same-day and next-day starts are possible when the estate is time-sensitive.
For families dealing with probate we coordinate with the estate attorney to make sure any paperwork or valuables discovered during cleanout are set aside and delivered to the executor. For families dealing with a move into assisted living we coordinate the timing so the resident's essentials are packed and moved before the cleanout begins.
Communities We Regularly Serve for Estate Cleanouts
Palm Beach County has one of the highest concentrations of estate transitions in Florida — 55+ communities, seasonal residents, and long-tenured homeowners in Valencia Shores, Valencia Reserve, Villages of Oriole, and Buena Vida. Estate cleanouts also concentrate in Palm Beach Gardens, Boca Raton, Delray Beach, and Jupiter where Junk Force has active COIs on file with dozens of communities.
What Junk Force Does Not Handle
Junk Force does not remove gasoline, fuel, paint, chemicals, propane tanks, or asbestos-containing materials. If those items are discovered during an estate cleanout we set them aside and provide the family with the correct disposal channel — the Solid Waste Authority Household Hazardous Waste drop-off at 1810 Lantana Road accepts these items for free from Palm Beach County residents.
